Al Stirt

Al Stirt is one of the pioneers of woodturning as an art form. He makes a “simple” bowl into something exceptional by paying careful attention to the orientation of the grain and the form. He carves wonderful patterns into platters and bowls and often uses milk paint to accent the patterns. To see Al's work visit his website at www.alstirt.com.

This will be and all-day club demo and the cost will be $25. Please bring your check already made out to SDWT to save time.

NOTE:
Al Stirt will do 2 two-day hands on workshops. One will be February 16-17 and one will be February 19-20. There are only a few spots available in the workshops. The cost will be $225 for the workshop and will include lunch. The workshops will be held at Nottingham.
